East Parker County Chamber | Foundation board members
Established in 2019 as a 501(c)3 charitable
foundation, the East Parker County Chamber of
Commerce Foundation exists to educate and assist
the business community in disaster recovery. In the
face of a pandemic and business shut-down in 2020,
the Foundation gave over $15,000 dollars to local
businesses to help cover salaries, bills, and inventories.
In February 2021, as businesses were still trying to
recover, Texas was hit with the worst winter storm in
over 30 years. The Foundation provided over $4,000
to assist businesses to cover extra losses from another
week of complete business stoppage. The funds of the
Foundation come from donations of members of the
East Parker County Chamber of Commerce. All grants
made in 2020 and 2021 have been distributed locally.
In 2022, the Foundation was able to help our friends
in Eastland and Jacksboro County with over $9,000 in
grants due to the wildfires and tornado.
