to thank the City of Hudson Oaks for their continued
support with our systems, as we move toward taking on the
responsibility of maintaining the waste and water system
with our own employees.
The Town of Annetta has a weather monitoring station
by virtue of an agreement with the City of Fort Worth.
This project came at no cost to the citizens of Annetta. The
weather station has been able to provide site specific weather
data to local weather stations and weather apps.
Annetta sponsored its 1st Annual Halloween and Holiday
contest for our citizens. Pictures were submitted for Annetta
citizens to vote for their favorite. The winners were announced
during the City Council Meeting following the voting.

native plant program that naturally helps support Monarch
Butterflies as they migrate from Canada to Mexico, the Town
hopes to set an example of how a little effort can make a big
difference. The Parker County Master Gardeners have added
plants to the Town Hall gardens that are drought resistant as
well as a valuable source of energy for the beautiful butterflies.
They will also be designing and planting flowers around our
new Town of Annetta sign.
The Annetta Community has made a commitment to
keep its streets clean and in 2018 began its annual Clean Up
and Beautification Day which takes place in the Spring. Last
year, we had a second event in Fall (October). The events
have been a tremendous success and has given citizens an
opportunity to get to know their neighbors.
The Town of Annetta is proud that it has maintained a
SUPERIOR WATER RATING with the State of Texas. In
a fast-growing area like East Parker County and particularly
in the highly desirable Aledo ISD, towns and cities must be
vigilant to protect and preserve our resources for future use.
Annetta has no property tax to subsidize utilities or other
infrastructure requirements. We continue to budget and
plan for the future of the town.
